Start Here

1. Appointment and calendar management

Scheduling takes up a genuinely embarrassing amount of time. Back-and-forth emails to find a meeting slot, reminders, follow-ups, reschedules. Tools like Calendly handle most of this passably. Add a simple automation layer (Zapier, Make, n8n) and you can tie bookings into your CRM, trigger confirmation emails, and log everything without touching it. One afternoon of setup, years of time back.

2. Invoice follow-ups

Unpaid invoices are a cash flow problem disguised as a communication problem. Most accounting platforms (QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Wave) will auto-send reminders at intervals you set. If yours doesn't, a simple email automation will do it. This is low-stakes, high-return, and nobody enjoys chasing payments manually anyway.

3. Data entry between tools

If you're copying information from one system to another by hand — order details, customer info, form submissions — that's automation's easiest win.
